Key Responsibilities

    

Ensuring robust financial control maintaining cost documents for all shipments leaving China Reconciliation of freight forwarder statements and matching of all invoices ready for payment with Accounts Payable team. Liaising with the operational teams in Transport and Export Care to resolve any queries. Monthly reconciliation of all export logistics costs including freight, pallets and admin/insurance. Supporting the Finance Manager in budget & quarterly forecasting processes to provide Export & Intercompany regions logistics costs. Ensuring compliance with statutory and group accounting procedures, highlighting areas of concern as appropriate and taking corrective action. Prepare credit documents such as letter of credit. Supporting other site Finance roles as required.

    

Requirements and Qualifications

    

Bachelor's Degree in Finance or related field is required. Strong analytical and organisational skills with attention to detail. Good knowledge of Microsoft Office (including Excel, and Word/Powerpoint). Previous experience in logistics / export finance role.
